Welcome BBQ 2022
After our first workshop for the Introduction to Actuarial Science Unit, all first-year students were invited to a welcome BBQ initiated by the Student Actuarial Society. There was a great turnout with close to all students attending presenting the perfect opportunity to get to know our fellow students over lunch, as well as members of SAS.
I personally got a lot out of speaking to some of the second and third-year students in regards to how their degree are tracking, what opportunities are arising and more.
